Pre-school Management

The Pre-School is managed by an elected committee of volunteers, who mostly consist of parents of pre-school children. Committee members are elected at our Annual General Meeting which is held in September. The main roles are Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.

This year our committee consists of:

Victoria Victoria Hamidi – Chair
I am Mum to Afsaneh and Anis. I joined the Preschool committee in January 2013. I enjoy sailing, traveling and being run ragged by my children!
Laura Laura Childs – Secretary
I'm Daniel and Adam's mum. I've been Secretary to the Committee since September 2011.
When I'm not looking after my two little boys I work part-time as a PA/Administrator for an Opera Singers' Agent (nowhere near as glamorous as it sounds!).

The Committee meet once a month, on a Thursday evening to discuss all issues being faced by the Pre-School, our Pre-School Supervisor Caroline McKellar and our Office Manager Julie Tisi also attend these meetings.

We are always keen to recruit new members, you don’t necessarily have to take on any specific tasks, but as we have to carry out CRB checks on all new members, at a cost to the Pre-School, we do ask that you are able to attend the majority of our meetings.

If you would like to get involved, but feel that joining the Committee would be too much of a commitment, we also have a fundraising group, who meet regularly during the day.
